Life, Love and Other Mysteries

Good morning to all those who have ventured onto this site. I thought I should put a few pictures out so you can see all FOUR of our children, not just the two that have been pictured so far. It is amazing how DIFFERENT all four of them are! I am amazed how their little personalities are forming even at this young age.

Jeremiah is our lion! He has a very strong personality, to put it in the most positive light possible! He is the typical first-born who likes to boss his younger siblings around. At the same time, he is very creative, intelligent and detail oriented!

Ben is our teddy bear! He is pretty compliant(but he has his moments), tenderhearted, helpful, but also tends to be a little tattle-tale! Oh well, you have to have one in each family, right?

Samuel is a little monkey. He is a little clown, always hamming it up, especially to the youth girls! But with that comes the "I can get away with anything" attitude! It has been very cute until lately. Now I'm like, ok, you are adorable, but you still have to obey!

JoJo is our little tiger! She is constantly on the go. She is always grabbing for something and sticking it in her mouth! On the floor, she won't hold still for a second! I sit her up, and the next minute she is back down again searching for a new toy! Watch out world, we've got a go-getter on our hands!

Well, that's enough of that, even though I could talk about them all day! Why not, they are what I live and breathe every day! They are a lot of work, but with that comes a lot of blessing. A couple weeks ago a woman with two babies in the diaper aisle saw us and she said, "Boy, you've got it worse than me!" I said, "No, Ive got it better than you! I have four little blessings and you have two!" What possessed me to say this? I'm not sure except I am kinda tired of hearing that all the time! I was pleasantly surprised the other day when a man said, "Wow, you have it worse than I do!" But then he changed his tune, "No you have it better than I do! You have four little gifts! God bless you!" This is a rare thing to hear in the store (and I get LOTS of comments).

  1. That's so very cool! I do hope that we get to reconnect in person sometime in the not-too-distant future so I can meet the five people that are such integral parts of your life right now! Sounds like a challenge, but a very fun one! I love seeing your kids and hearing your stories... keep it up.

  3. I've heard the same things when I have only 3 of my children with me in a store. Amazing isn't it? People can be so bold...and not really think about what they are saying, or how it comes accross.

  4. Yes, Wynette, you do have four little blessings! I remember those days in the grocery store with four, and sometimes it wasn't very funny. However, I've come to the conclusion that big families are wonderful--most of the time!
